echizenya (eh-chee-zen-ya)
MADE IN JAPAN
The factory is located in the remote rural town of Matsuura, on Japan’s southernmost main island of Kyushu. Employing 100 skilled workers, and with a production output of up to 800 pairs of pants per day, the factory is one of the most efficient of its kind in Japan.
Each pair of pants goes through over 150 fabrication steps, dozens of skilled sets of hands and several proprietary cutting, sewing and assembly machines found nowhere else in the world.
The majority of the fabrics are also woven & knit in Japan, and have been developed specifically for Echizenya.
BEGAN IN 1949
Echizenya is a label under the Eminento parent company, producing top quality pants in Japan since 1949.
The Echizenya label is only available outside Japan. Within Japan, Eminento runs their own label under ‘Calzoni’. Eminento also makes private label pants for brands like Isetan Mens, Tomorrowland and many other high end stores.
CREATED IN 3-D
Echizenya is obsessed with making a better pant. One of the biggest achievements in their history was creating a machine that presses a curve into the fabric in the right places before even two pieces of fabric are sewn together. This gives your seat shape and comfort from the first wear, and what your customers will initially notice when admiring themselves in the mirror. The stride becomes cleaner, without sacrificing movement. No other company we know of goes to these lengths to ensure a great fit.
EASY TO CARE, EASY TO WEAR FABRICS
Most of the fabrics the buyer sees in the showroom are Made in Japan as well. In most cases, they have been specifically designed with the Echizenya design team which makes these pants that much more unique in the Canadian market.
"Easy to Care, Easy to Wear" technical fabrics allow guys to wear their Echizenyas more often, with less worry. Many fabrics are designed to wash at home, hang to dry, and wear without ironing.
